Paul grew up near Boston in the Northeast of the United States.

After receiving an honours medical degree at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, paul entered residency training in emergency medicine at Boston Medical Center. He holds board certification with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellowship with the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Paul relocated to the Sunshine Coast with his wife and children after obtaining Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. He still works as a specialist in emergency medicine in both Australia and the united sates. With a deep understanding of anatomy, his emergency medicine skill set translates well to an array of non-surgical cosmetic techniques.
